The European Union Rejected a Law that would Allow Members to Ban the Sale or Use of GMO Crops

Current restrictions on the cultivation of genetically modified crops have made the EU reliant on imports, much of which is genetically modified, rendering this proposed law unsustainable. [10/29/15]
