Jamba Juice “All Natural” Suit Granted Preliminary Settlement Approval

A federal court in California granted preliminary approval of the settlement of a class action lawsuit involving Jamba Juice’s smoothie kits that were labeled as “all natural” despite containing ascorbic acid, xantham gum, gelatin, steviol glycosides, and modified corn starch.  The court found that plaintiffs had standing to obtain injunctive relief despite knowing the products were mislabeled.
