Canada Announces Third Phase of Chemicals Management Plan

Canada’s Department of Health and Department of Environment and Climate Change announced that they will complete their review of the remaining 1550 chemical substances (of the original 4300 substances prioritized under the country’s Chemical Management Program as requiring health and environmental assessment) by 2020.  The remaining chemicals include nano forms of some existing substances and re-evaluation of pesticides registered prior to 1995.
